The Target Audience

"Our website is not there to increase the number of visitors, but to meet an information need. In our case, often that of a client's family, but we also wanted our employees to have their own place. Basic Orange showed us some of their other websites, from hospitals for example. We saw a clear choice for which information you want to show where. People choose quickly: they want more information about a clinical picture, or about making an appointment, etc. We really liked that demand-oriented approach. In addition, the distinctiveness of the site was important to us. The corporate identity had to match that of the physical locations. The website also had to be easy to read in case family refers their father or mother to the website. Large buttons, images, and fonts, and good options for setting them."

The collaboration

"The lines of communication with Basic Orange are always short, which is very nice. If necessary, we can simply email and call the developers, without anyone in between. Fortunately, we don't need much help with the CMS. We're glad it's so easy to use. Within our team, there are a number of people who are not very familiar with CMSs, but they also manage to create a news item, for example. At the moment we are still working with Basic Orange on a calendar function and synchronisation with the Google Calendar for all activities per location. Until now, they were simply printed and hung. And we also want to work with online personalisation in the future, so that visitors can get information about their location more quickly, for example."
